Our family had a fantastic week in Mallorca, and we couldn't wait to share our experiences. With our toddler in tow, we opted for a more relaxed pace, allowing her to explore and enjoy the beautiful island. Here's a recap of our delightful adventure.

Day 1: Exploring Puerto Pollensa

We kicked off our trip with a walk from our hotel to the charming town of Puerto Pollensa. Known for its beautiful sandy beaches and scenic Pine Walk promenade, Puerto Pollensa offers a perfect mix of relaxation and activity. The journey was leisurely, with multiple stops at the play parks along the beach. Our little one loved these breaks and the chance to run around. We treated ourselves to some delicious ice cream before making our way back to the hotel, enjoying the stunning coastal views.

Day 2: At the Hotel

Our second day was spent enjoying the amenities at our hotel. Our toddler had a blast splashing by the pool and walking her 'buzzy bee' around the gardens. Meanwhile, we took turns using the spa and gym, indulging in some well-deserved relaxation and exercise. It was a perfect day of unwinding and enjoying the resort’s facilities.

Day 3: A Taste of Pollensa Old Town and Dinner at Puerto Pollensa Marina

We drove to Pollensa old town, a historic and charming area with narrow streets and a rich cultural heritage. We found a spot in the main square for a delightful tapas lunch, soaking in the lively atmosphere. After lunch, we wandered through the picturesque streets, browsing the local shops. We stumbled upon a lovely baby shop and couldn't resist buying some adorable beach sandals for our toddler.

In the evening, we headed to the Puerto Pollensa marina for a special dinner, our only dinner out during the trip. The restaurant had spectacular views of the marina, with boats gently bobbing in the water and the sun setting in the background. However, our little explorer wasn’t willing to sit still for the entire meal. We had to take turns walking her around the marina to look at the boats, which added a unique twist to our evening out.

Day 4: Santa Maria del Cami Adventures

Santa Maria del Cami, a quaint village known for its traditional markets and charming streets, was our destination on the fourth day. We started with a coffee and pastry at a cafe on Plaça Hostals, followed by a visit to a local bakery where we picked up more pastries to enjoy later. The main square was sunny, and our toddler had a blast at the play park. We stayed for a local lunch, savoring the authentic flavors of Mallorca.

Day 5: Morning at the Pool and Lunch with Live Music

We spent the morning relaxing by the pool at our hotel, enjoying the sunshine and taking a dip. For lunch, we ventured out to a local chiquinto, a small eatery known for its casual vibe and delicious food. We were treated to live music, which added to the festive atmosphere. It was a wonderful way to spend a leisurely afternoon.

Day 6: Alcudia Old Town and Sa Canova Beach

Sunday was market day, so we drove to Alcudia old town, a beautifully preserved medieval town with narrow streets and charming shops. We explored the vibrant market, which was filled with stalls selling everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts. We couldn't resist buying more pastries from a local bakery. After our market adventure, we headed to Sa Canova beach. The beach was pristine and not too crowded, perfect for a family day out. We had a fresh and delicious lunch at a nearby café before spending the afternoon playing on the beach. Our toddler loved playing in the sand.

Day 7: Morning at the Pool and Walking to Puerto Pollensa

On our final day, we spent the morning at the pool, enjoying one last swim. In the afternoon, we walked to Puerto Pollensa, once again enjoying the beach and parks along the way. Our walk ended with a relaxing coffee at the marina, watching the boats and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

Relaxing at the Hotel

This trip was different from our usual hectic schedule, largely because our toddler enjoyed exploring the hotel resort. She spent hours walking around the gardens and playing by the pool. Most mornings, we had breakfast in our apartment, and we often returned there for dinner as well, allowing us to unwind and enjoy some quiet family time.

Mallorca proved to be the ideal destination for a family holiday. With its beautiful scenery, delicious food, and relaxed pace, it catered perfectly to our needs. We left with wonderful memories and a desire to return soon.
