Mallorca is a true gem in the Mediterranean, not just for its stunning beaches and picturesque landscapes, but also for its vibrant culinary scene. As a family of food lovers, we spent our vacation seeking out the best spots for delicious meals and aromatic coffee.

Pastisseria es Monasteri

For those with a sweet tooth, Pastisseria es Monasteri in Santa Maria del Camí is a true haven. This charming pastry shop offers a wide array of traditional Mallorcan treats. Our little explorer loved picking a pastry from the counter.

Panaderia Payeras

A hidden gem in the town of Puerto Pollensa, Panaderia Payeras is the go-to place for freshly baked goods. The aroma of bread and pastries wafts through the air as soon as you step inside. We often stopped by for their delectable pastries, which made for perfect snacks during our island explorations. The friendly service and the quality of the baked goods kept us coming back for more.

Gran Café 1919

Nestled in the heart of Puerto Pollensa, Gran Café 1919 is a delightful spot to start your day. The café exudes a charming old-world ambiance, with its vintage décor and cozy atmosphere. We loved their freshly brewed coffee or decadent hot chocolate when visiting in the cooler months. They also have a large terrace for relaxing in the sun with ice cream.

Reial Club Nàutic

For a tranquil coffee, Reial Club Nàutic in Port de Pollença is the place to be. Situated by the marina, this spot offers stunning vistas of the bay, making it a perfect place to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere. The calm setting and beautiful views make it a regular favorite for our coffee breaks.

Celler La Parra

For a taste of traditional Mallorcan cuisine, Celler La Parra in Port de Pollença is a must-visit. This family-run restaurant has been serving locals and tourists alike for generations. The rustic interiors, with wooden beams and wine barrels, create a warm and inviting setting.

Béns d'Avall Restaurant

Perched on a cliff overlooking the sea, Béns d'Avall Restaurant offers a dining experience that is both luxurious and intimate. We visited this elegant restaurant on our mini-moon, and it left a lasting impression. The cuisine is innovative, with a focus on using locally sourced ingredients. It’s the perfect place for a special occasion or a romantic evening out.

El Sol Sunshine Bar

Located right on the beach in Platja de Son Serra, El Sol Sunshine Bar is a fantastic spot for a relaxed meal with a view. The laid-back atmosphere, coupled with the sound of waves, makes for a perfect family-friendly dining experience. The menu is diverse, featuring everything from fresh salads to hearty burgers. We particularly enjoyed their fish soup and salmon poke bowl.

Mallorca’s culinary scene is as diverse as it is delicious, and these spots are just a glimpse of what the island has to offer. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado, a lover of traditional cuisine, or someone with a penchant for pastries, Mallorca has something to delight every palate. Our family’s gastronomic adventure on this beautiful island was truly unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return for more!
